Arden Miller

Arden R. Miller, 91, of Norwalk passed away on August 13, 2008 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home with burial following at Webb Cemetery in Norwalk. The family will greet friends from 1-2 P.M. Tuesday prior to the funeral. Arden was born in Des Moines and was a Navy veteran of WW II. Following his military service he lived in Berwick before moving to Norwalk in 1959. He was part owner of Miller Evans Printing Co. and enjoyed working on his farm. He was a member of the American, Iowa and Warren Co. Quarter Horse Associations and the American Poultry Association. He is survived by his daughters Pam (Bob) Carroll of Norwalk and Peggy (Wayne) Clark of New Virginia, his daughter-in-law JoAn Miller of Norwalk, his five grandchildren Deb Crews, Jeff (Michelle) Miller, Brenda (Jeff) Hovey, Tim Clark and Mike (Daphne) McKinney as well as 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn, son Jerry and 9 brother and sisters.
