Rose Aiello

Rose Damaschena Aiello entered into rest on October 25 at Hillcrest Health and Rehab Center in Bellevue, NE; she was 88 years old.
Rose was born January 31, 1918 in Des Moines, Iowa to John and Mary (Agazia) Gemelli. She was bookkeeper for the family business, Iowa Boiler and Welding Co., a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and the Altar Society, a loving. creative mother and "Nana", and she will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her son Frank and Judy Aiello of Volin, South Dakota; daughter Catherine and Hugh Stirts of Papillion, Nebraska; granddaughters Rose and Steve Carlson of Omaha, Cara Stirts of Valparaiso, Indiana, and Hollie and Steve Urbauer of Lincoln; and grandson, Dominic Aiello of Austin, Texas; four great-granddaughters and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Dominic, sisters Angelina Nigro, Lucille Mazza and Minnie Bellizzi, and her parents.
The family will greet friends from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday, October 29 at Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home with 3 p.m. Altar Society Rosary and a parish Rosary at 7 p.m.
A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, October 30 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with burial following at Glendale Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to St. Anthony's Church.
