Russell Gibbel

Russell F. Gibbel, Jr., 64, passed away December 23, 2006. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home with burial at Sunset Cemetery. Visitation will be 9-10 a.m. prior to the service.
Russell was born September 30, 1942 in Des Moines to Russell F. & Dorothy M. (Utley) Gibbel, Sr. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School and worked at Plain Talk Publishing for many years.
Russell enjoyed playing the guitar and working on his classic Mustang automobiles.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Russ and Kim Gibbel of Indianola.
