Gregory Lynn Strait, 69, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2018, at his home in Des Moines.
Greg was born February 1, 1949, in Des Moines, Iowa to John LeRoy Jr. and Jacqueline (Means) Strait. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, JoAnn; son, Bryan and grandchildren, Carigan and Ethan of Arizona; and his step-mother, Maxine Strait of Ankeny. He was preceded in death by his parents.
According to Greg’s wishes, cremation will occur and no services are planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to his family. Condolences may be expressed at www.HamiltonsfuneralHome.com.

I remembered Greg from high school. Saddened to read of his passing so soon. The Psalmist writes in Psa. 116: 15, "Precious in the sight of the Lord are the death of His godly ones." I pray you experience God's comfort & strength as you and your family move through the grieving process. In His mighty grip...

My deepest condolences to your family. I went to high school with Greg and so enjoyed knowing him. He had a great personality and I know he will be missed. Keep your memories close to remember during the rough times. Thinking of you all.

We are Sending much love and hugs and thinking of you. I am saddened my Greg's loss but I have so many wonderful memories!!
