Service Details
Lowell Bowden, 69, died July 18, 2018 of complications from Lewy Body Dementia in Des Moines. He was born June 25, 1949, in Ottumwa, Iowa to Walter and Patricia Bowden.
Lowell is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Linda; daughters, Laurie (Brent) Mardis and Lisa Bowden; grandchildren, Benjamin, Luke and Katelyn; 11 siblings; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th St. SW, Altoona. Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until the time of services at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow services at Altoona Cemetery.
