Service Details
Richard Johnson, 72, died Monday, July 28, 2008 at Mercy Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at noon, Friday, August 1, 2008 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th, with one hour of visitation before the service.
Richard served during the Korean Conflict as an Air Borne Ranger (Green Beret).
Richard was an accomplished musician; he had a love for entertaining people.
Richard is survived by his children, Ricky Johnson, Debbie Johnson, Jim (Lori) Johnson, Diane Jepsen, Mike Johnson, Rob Johnson, Toni Long, Sean (Stephanie) Johnson, Regina Johnson, Stuart (Amber) Johnson, Davy (Cindy) Hobbs, Terry Hobbs and Johnna Oliver; brother, Bob Johnson; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Richard.

I was Audrey's supervisor and spoke with Richard many times. His death is great lose to all of us.
May God's arms surround you with Love and Comfort and the wings of his Angels be beneath you to give you all support during this difficult time.

I was deeply saddened to hear of the loss of a friend. Rick always made you feel special and was a great demo pal. I am proud to have known him. My prayers are with the family at this sad time.

This is such a shock to me I did work with Rick through Demos express. We did work in the same stores alot or did switch out on demos sometimes. Rick was someone you could talk to and was so helpful at any time. Rick will be missed so very much missed.
May God be with his family at such hard time.

You have my condolences. I worked with Rick doing demos in Des Moines and he
was a great guy. I enjoyed having breaks with him and he taught me a lot at
doing demos. He will be greatly missed in all Walmart stores. He will be
greatly missed by his family and friends. Rick was a down to earth man who talked a lot about his family and his grandkids and great grandkids. He was
really proud of all of you. God bless all of you. Knowing Rick has been a
high light of my life. A true friend and co worker. My condolences again.
