Kyle Grant

Kyle Grant, 48, died Monday, July 28, 2008 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital after a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, August 1, 2008 at the Meskwaki Settlement with a wake service at 7 p.m. on Thursday. Burial will occur at Morgan Cemetery at the Meskwaki Settlement.
Kyle was born December 29, 1959 to Ulysses and Gloria Grant in Des Moines. He graduated from Lincoln Tech and worked as a roofer for Bailey Roofing. Kyle was a Cubs fan and loved his family.
Kyle is survived by his wife, Teri Grant; daughter, Angel Grant; stepchildren, Amber, Michael, and Jordan; brother, Kirby (Patti) Grant; sisters, Amelia Grant, Gloria J. Grant, and Dayle (George) Iverson; adopted brothers, Raymond (Dodia) Slick Jr. and Charlie (Kathy) Shuckahosee; adopted sisters, Marguerite Bass, Hattie (Dean) Whitebreast, and Mary (Gerald) Sanache; and many nieces, nephews, and beloved friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held after 5:00 PM, Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St.
