To All of my Cousin Carole's Family,
Carole Ann was a favorite cousin of mine. Every Memorial Day when we were children all would gather at the Orson Pease farm near Leon, Ia. I have many childhood memories of the things we enjoyed together.
May God guide you through your grieving with his tenderness and Grace.
With Love,
Sue Phelps (Smith)

Gaylen and family so sorry for your loss Carole was a great friend and lady. I fully planned to attend the celebration of life but was not feeling good that day. Thin I got a call that contractors were coming over to pour a patio so I was regrettably unable to attend but you was and are in my thoughts prayers

I have had many, many fond memories at the Kroke household, it was my 2nd home. Going way back to when she babysat me when I was 3 years old. To the Iowa State Fair days, when Carole worked for Freeman..I felt like we had the connections, an air conditioned building, to a clean bathroom and a dumping ground for our big bag of goodies(so we thought)--with pamphlets, stickers and buttons from every single vendor in the Varied Industries Building. To the camping and boating trips. To the long bike rides we would take on my visits back to Des Moines. Carole always had a smile on her face, I don't think she ever got mad. RIP Carole. To the family, the memories will get you thru this difficult time, they live on forever! Love, Janet Blount

The Kroke home was open to all of us kids. I spent as much time there as in my own. Carole was a sweet lady and a class act. Some of my best memories are time spent with them. Carole would load up all of us kids in the VW "da bus" as Gaylen called it. We went on many fun trips to the Iowa Oaks games, swimming or camping. She was very good to me, as their whole family was. It is with a sad heart I bid her goodbye. Yet, I rejoice because she is free of her earthly trials. RIP dear mother. Carole one of God's greatest treasures and ours. May her family find peace at this time and always. With sincere love.. Michelle Reese
