Evelyn K. Baldwin

Evelyn K. Baldwin was born on June 28, 1937 in Des Moines, Iowa and entered eternal rest while at her home in Richfield, Minnesota on July 3, 2018. She was a Des Moines resident during her early years, graduating from Lincoln High School in 1955. Moving to Minnesota awhile after graduation, she lived in the Minneapolis area for over 45 years.

Evelyn married Raynold Gilbertson and to this union 2 daughters were born; Rhonda in 1959 and Jo Elaine in 1961. Precious memories are left with Rhonda (Chris) Schlee and Jo Elaine Gilbertson; granddaughter Rachael Schlee; sister, Marlene Timmons and special friend Elaine Felice.

A visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 9, 2018 with a service following at 12:00 noon at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street, Des Moines. A burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens will follow services.

The family would like to extend special appreciation to Linda, Char, and Lindsay for all their loving care.
