Debi was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Barbara Metcalf and her sister, Lynn Ainsworth.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 5, 2018, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, Des Moines.

Travis, I never met your mother, but I wanted to reach out to give you and your family my condolences. I lost my mom last year and it's the most gut wrenching feeling in the world. I'm sorry I can't make it in person to express my sorrow for your loss, but please know that you are very much in my prayers. Feel free to contact me if you'd like to talk... I've personally found it helpful to talk to others going through something similar. With all my sympathy to you and yours during this time. May she rest peacefully and you always feel her presence among you.

I will greatly miss my dear cousin. She was so generous and loving and life will never be the same without her with us. But she will be watching over her family that she loved so dearly.

I cannot describe the depth of my love for my sister. She honestly was the strongest, kindest and most loving woman I have ever known. I am honored to have been her sister and blessed to have known her. My heart is broken but soothed in the fact that she lives on in spirit with us.
