Annette Marie Wood
July 02, 2018
Annette Marie Wood passed away on July 2, 2018. A wonder woman was born on July 28, 1964 to Judith Ann Bell and Robert Bell.
In 2013, Annette joined forces with Steven D. Wood to become, “The Coolest Couple Ever.” Together they raised two sons, Jeffrey Schlegel and Travis Schegel, each with special powers of their own. With combined powers, two families became one and lifted themselves out of struggle, to love and fulfillment with God leading the way.
Annette’s special power was love. Annette was able to light a room with her mere presence and smile. She had an uncanny ability to make everyone at ease, bathed in comfort and attention. Annette shared her tales well with full theatrics. Annette was a fantastic listener, eager to digest your world and make it part of her own. One could actually feel her love radiating.
Annette is also survived by brother, Chris Bell; many cousins, and extended family.
Services will be held Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines, IA.
In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a charitable donation in Annette’s honor to breast cancer research.
