Terrance Joseph Meyer, 72, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018, at his home in Des Moines.

Terry was born October 30, 1945, in Dubuque, Iowa to Joseph and Lavina Meyer. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and retired from John Deere after 30 years of faithful service. He enjoyed golfing, gambling, and beautiful women.

He is survived by his daughter, Teri Knode; future son-in-law, Lane Templeton; grandsons, Jeff Meyer, Bradley Meyer, Adam Knode, Joshua Knode; great-grandson, Jaxton Knode; and brother, Ronald (Ann) Meyer.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Dana Meyer.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 6, 2018, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines, followed by cremation.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
