Rodney "Rod" F. Sieleman

Rodney Francis Sieleman, age 90, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Wednesday, June 27, 2018.
Rodney was born November 5, 1927, in Waucoma, Iowa to Frank M. and Lyda L. (House) Sieleman. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and was employed by Des Moines University for 38 years.
Rod is survived by his loving wife Maxine; children, Jeffrey (Sandi), Teri Long (Mark), Tina Cotton, Todd (Christine), and Timothy (Daryna); 18 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, all three siblings, son-in-law, Brad Cotton and nephew, Jim Sieleman.
A visitation will be held Friday, July 6, 5:00 to 8:00 pm, at Christ Church at Fox Creek, 33365 335th St, Waukee, IA. A private family service is planned.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be directed to Polk County Jail Ministries or Gideons International.

Dear Maxine and family. I have the fondest memories of Rod. His old time record payers in his study all the pictures on the walls. I will always cherish the memories I have of him 33 years ago (when I was in high school and over to your house on Des Moines Street). God's Peace and blessings to you all.

the one thing I remember about Mr. Sieleman was the coolest stereo I had ever seen and the largest library of albums to! can still picture it today. that was 35 plus yrs ago. my thoughts and prayers to the Sieleman family.

Jeff, I received this from a friend when my father passed and got something from it, hope you do as well.
