Edith L. Erickson

Edith Lorraine Edler Erickson, age 91, passed away June 27, 2018, born October 30, 1926 in State Center, Iowa to Walter and Ella Maud (Watts) Edler.

Surviving Edith is daughter, Patricia (Chuck) McBurney of Altoona; sons, Leslie (Betty) of Des Moines, Dennis (Vicki) of Colfax, Steven (Beth) of Indianola, and Thomas (Ana) of Colfax. 21 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. Brother, James Edler of Surprise, AZ and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death are her parents; brother, Howard Edler; sister, Doris Witte; daughter, Carol Beasley; and Granddaughter, Pamela Erickson

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, June 30, 2018, 12:00 PM at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th St SW, Altoona. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will be at the Bondurant Cemetery.

Memorial contributions can be given to Altoona Regular Baptist Church, or Unity Point Hospice Taylor House, in loving memory of Edith.
