Lois Jane Brady, 82, passed away on July 28, 2008, from complications of pneumonia. She had been a Des Moines resident most of her life, spending the past 13 years at Valley View Village. She had also spent several years during her life in Raleigh, NC. Lois graduated from East High and was a member of the Evangelical Covenant Church.
Lois is survived by her children, Mark (Janet) Brady of DeSoto, Jill Brady of Runnells, Nancy (Randy) Leinen of Mesa, AZ and Dan (Jan) Brady of Mingo; grandchildren, Alaina, Shanna, Deidre, Brandon, Jenna, Jodi, Kimberlee, Joni and Jennifer; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Brady and her sister, Florence Woodcock.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Iowa Health Hospice.

To the family of Lois Brady,
Sorry, to hear about Lois. I thought that she was still in N.C. My wife and I ran into her and Richard a few years ago. Time goes fast. Any I thought she had said they moved back to N.C.
It is hard to lose a parent but we have this wonderful hope of seeing them again at (John 5:28-29) . . .Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.
