Judith Longcor

Judith Longcor, 68, passed away on June 26, 2018 at Mercy Hospice. Judith was born on July 2, 1949 to Frank and Virginia Watts, in Des Moines.

Judith is survived by her husband, David; children, Lisa (Kirk) Keul, Traci Groves, and Sharon Wegner; sisters, Mary (John) Willard, Sandy(Terry) Battani, Marti (Donald) Glick, and Debbie (Dale) Giles; 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and her great-granddaughter on the way, Lilian Judith, due in December, and her dog, Ryleigh. Judith was preceded in death by her children, Stephanie and Geoffrey; parents, grandson, Cole Groves and sister Cindy Blizek.

Judith had a kind, genuine heart. She had worked at Kavanagh House as a CNA. She received praises for the personal kindness and care she would show to the patients.

A visitation will be held at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th St, Des Moines, on Monday, July 2, 2018 from 4:00 p.m., to 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 15 Indianola Road, Des Moines.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in honor of Judith.
