Marjorie Volkamer

Marge Volkamer, 87, of Des Moines passed away on July 28, 2008 at the Bright Kavanagh House in Des Moines.
Visitation will be from 4-7 P.M. Thursday evening at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home. A private family service will be held at a later date.
Marge was a 1939 graduate of Lincoln High School, homemaker, mother, grandmother and was completely devoted to her family. Survivors include her children Sue (Jim) Carlisle and Jim (Betty) Volkamer; grandchildren, Kim Carlisle, Kerri Bosch, Troy Volkamer and Traci Volkamer as well as 4 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl.
A memorial has been established to the Hospice Bright Kavanagh House, 3000 Easton Blvd., Des Moines, IA 50317.
