Forgot to add: Took Shirley to a Kenny G concert downtown as I was a saxophone-enthusiast; I wasn't sure if Shirley would be that up for it. Kenny played his sax out into the audience and Shirley had a ball with it...we did have some great times after our work days---she was like a sister to me. I am glad we had this time together.

I was blessed to know your mom for so many years. We had some laughs when she was with Lorna and we would just sit and talk have a cocktail too. She was proud of her children, I know that for sure. She would want you all to take care of one another. Eileen, you did a great job caring for your mom. That is a difficult job for a adult child to care for their parent. but you stepped up and handled it. Great job. I am thinking of all of you.

I worked side-by-side Shirley in the Microfilm Dept., at Polk Cty., Recorders Office for a time in the 90s and Shirley was a joy to work with. Many interesting conversations about our lives & solving world problems. A great loss. Condolences to Eileen & family.
