Robert "Bob" Fells

Robert John Fells, 68, passed away June 21, 2018. He was a faithful member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church and especially enjoyed singing with the choir. For many years he served with the Mitchellville Lions Club and the Boy Scouts. He was a foster and adoptive parent and served on the board of Iowa Foster and Adoptive Parents Assn.

Bob is survived by his wife of 46 years, Joan, and his children, Karianne Keller, Andrew (Gretchen) and Jesse Fells, and grandchildren Tim, Courtney, Christian, Bennett and Dominic.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John “Jack” and Dorothy Fells; sister, Mary Ellen Fells and his stepfather Milton Antonson.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m., Monday, June 25, 2018, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 2600 E. Euclid Avenue in Des Moines. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, also at the church. Interment will be at a later date in Mankato, MN.
