Jesse J. Reynolds
June 17, 2018
Our beloved son, brother, uncle and friend Jesse J. Reynolds, age 39, entered eternal life to be with his Heavenly Father on June 17, 2018. Jesse was born August 10, 1978 in Des Moines, to Frank and Roslin Reynolds. He was raised in Indianola, and graduated from Indianola High School. He was a member of the Roman Catholic Church, and attended mass at St. Thomas Aquinas parish.
Jesse was friendly, kind-hearted, and loved by everyone who knew him. To his nieces he was affectionately known as “Uncle Pickle” and to his friends he was the “Gentle Giant.” He stood head and shoulders above everyone else, not just in stature, but in humility, friendliness, kindness, and honesty. No matter what adversity he faced, he always kept his humor and his faith.
Jesse loved to spend time with family and friends. He especially enjoyed boating and camping at the lake, video games, playing with his dog, and visiting with his nieces.
Jesse Reynolds will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends. Those left to mourn his passing include his devoted parents Roslin and Frank Reynolds and sister Shawna Hetherington of Indianola, brother Austin Reynolds of Des Moines, and nieces Madelyn, Emily, and Ava Hetherington. He is also survived by numerous cousins and his aunts and uncles: Ronald Arnett (Ginger) of Granbury, TX; Rebecca Velez (Gustavo) of Des Moines; Rita Arnett (John Allar) of Las Cruces, NM; Raymond Arnett (Janice) of Las Cruces, NM; and Randy Arnett (Robin) of Onalaska, TX.
Services will be held on Friday June 22 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 210 Route 63, in Indianola. Visitation is at 10 am, Rosary at 10:45, and Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Fleur Drive following the funeral mass.

We will love you forever. Life wont be the same without your smiling face and excitement for life and all it entailed. Our only comfort is that we will have the best guardian angel anyone has ever had and that you will be waiting with open arms when we join you and the rest of the family. Give Mom and dad a hug for us. With love.
