Diana Sanchez

Diana Lynn Sanchez, age 54, passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at her home in Des Moines.

Diana was born January 13, 1964, in Des Moines, Iowa. She was the daughter of Robert and Alice (Northway) Morton. She treasured family get-togethers, especially time spent with her grandchildren and great-granddaughter. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafting.

She is survived by her daughters, Mandy (Carlton) Bishop and Nickie Martinez; son, Joshua (Grace) Hansen; grandchildren, Antonio, CJ (Zoie), Izajah, Maria, Angela, Tobby, Brandon, Conner, Nick, Cadin, Aaliyah, Neaven, Trinity and Noah; great-granddaughter, Winter Hope; brothers, Larry Keeney, Dennis Northway, and Kevin Morton; sisters, Melissa Reynolds and Tina Blume; her fur-baby, Chico; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and special friends.

Diana was preceded in death by her father, Robert Morton; mother, Alice Northway Morton; brother, Scott Morton; and daughter, Ashley Hansen.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m., Monday, June 18, 2018, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines, with cremation to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family to assist with unexpected expenses.
