Laura, it has been a couple of days and I still can't believe that you are gone. You always had and will have a special place in my heart. You were funny, hard-working, and I just loved spending time with you. You were one of my favorites. I will always be inspired in my own life by how you faced life's challenges with strength, honesty, love, and a fire that could not be stifled. Jocie, please know that those amazing characteristics that your mom had are in you too. Laura, you were just an all around kick-ass friend, mom, wife, daughter, employee and lady! Sending you, your family, and everyone that loved you the biggest hug right now. You left so much good behind in this world and will be so incredibly missed.

Laura was a beautiful lady both inside and out. She was a dedicated mother, wife, daughter, sister, niece, aunt, cousin and friend to so many. She was here on earth for such a short time, but in that time, had such a great and loving impact on each of our lives. She was a strong women with a gentle and loving spirit. She suffered a loss of a child (Katera) and through her pain and suffering supported others suffering from the same loss. She was an advocate for parents against bullying and also an advocate for suicide prevention. She always supported and found time for other kids and families experiencing the same thing. She never met a person who wasn't her friend. God called her home at a young age of 43, but her legacy lives on, through her daughter Jocie, whom she was so proud of. Even in her death she kept on giving, by organ donations. A little bit of this great lady will live on in others. Laura touched all our hearts and lives and she will be missed by so many. God grant all family and friends the inner peace they need at this time of sorrow.
Love you Laura
