Jacqueline Zavalla

Jacqueline D Zavalla, 59, died unexpectedly on Thursday, July 24, 2008 at Kavanagh House on 56th. Visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. Cremation will follow.
Jacqueline was born May 13, 1949 to Harold and Ila Warner in Des Moines. She worked for the US Postal Service for 20 years and most recently at EDS and PSCI as a telemarketer. Jacqueline enjoyed gardening and painting.
Jacqueline is survived by her children, Toni Marie (Kelly) Pierson of Washington, Nieves (Lynette Wilson) Ochoa Jr. of Des Moines, and Ashley Zavalla of Des Moines; grandchildren, Joseph O’Brien, Abigail and Madeline Pierson, Maisen, Avery, Daly, Cheyenne, and Billie Ochoa; sisters, Charlotte (Norman) Willis of Norwalk and Donna Cunningham of Des Moines; friends, Jeremy, Aryanna, Christian, Jane, and Lurae; nephews, Randy and Jeff Arndt, Mike and David Lemon, and Wayne and Chris Cunningham; nieces, Crystal Cunningham and Jamie Warner; and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorial contributions may be given to the family.
