Ardeth Hines, 77, died Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at Taylor House. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 26, 2008 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. with burial at Sheffield Cemetery in Story City, Iowa
Ardeth was born November 18, 1930 in Des Moines. She was a lifelong resident of Des Moines and received her Bachelor of Divinity Degree in 1999.
Ardeth is survived by her husband of 51 years, Evan; children, Dennis (Juanita) Beck, Pam Beck and Scott (Terri) Hines; brother, Marvin (Marilyn) Overton; sister, Marilyn (Harrison) Davis; seven grandchildren and five great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
Memorial contributions may be made to the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews or Shalom Ministries.

Our loss is Heavens gain. I know the bells are ringing and the Angels are singing. We will all miss you. Evan I'm so very sorry for your loss.Tho the days will be long and empty, we could not wish her back to the suffering on earth. The pain has ended for Ardeth Love you.

Ardith You will be missed and It saddens me to lose you. You were a wonderful person. I thank God that you no longer have to suffer, Tina and I thought the world of you. You lifed my spirit when I was down, and I wish we could have spent more time together... I will think of you often and pray for your family, as I always do. Someday we'll be together again in heaven, and we will be happy together again. Matt, Bill, cathy and Tina all loved you and too. Good bye my sweet Ardith.. Love you forever, and you will be missed. Love Linda and Fmily. You may be gone, but you wil be alive in our hearts.
