Richard Allbee, 59, died July 21, 2008 at Mercy Medical Center. A graveside memorial service will be held at Glendale Cemetery at a later date.
Richard is survived by his son, Derry (June Short) Allbee; brothers, Don (Bev), Gene, Larry and Bill (Sheila) Allbee; sister, Pam Allbee; and his niece, Debbie Kiehl. He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma; his parents, Charles and Ruth Allbee; a sister; and five brothers.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.

Richard was my good friend and high school classmate at Iowa School for the Deaf. I am very sorry to hear of his death. I send out my heart to him and may he rest in peace. I'm also sending my regards to the rest of family.

I real so sorry to heard about Richard Allbee. I am his class of 1967 at Iowa School for the Deaf. Always remember of Richard Allbee at ISD for few years.
