Verna Welch

Verna Welch, 83, died at the Madrid Home for the Aging, Wednesday, July 16, 2008. A celebration of life memorial service will be held on July 26, 2008 from 1-5PM at the Raccoon River Nature Lodge, 2500 Grand Ave, West Des Moines Iowa.
Verna was born in 1924 to Fred and Pearl Nungesser in Menlo, Iowa
Verna is survived by her children; Linda Hayes, Ron (Lana) Welch, Rick (Pat) Welch, Virginia (Chuck) Hood, and Randy Welch; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Gaylard Welch.
Memorial contributions may be directed toward the Madrid Home for the Aging or to Hospice of Central Iowa.
