Service Details
James Howard died July 8th at his home in Des Moines. Memorial services will be 2 PM Saturday at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home.
James enjoyed spending time with his children, working in the yard and building his race car.
He is survived by his wife, Kelli; sons, Kevin and James; daughter, Jamie; parents, Kevin and Sue; sister, Tanya (Tony) Abuhl; brother, Matthew and a host of nieces.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and 3 uncles.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family.

I'm sorry to here of this news!! There is nothing that I can say to help you deal with this loss, just know that Jennifer, Mom and Dad Banister and I are thinking of you and you are in our prayers. May you find comfort with ones who love and care for you. Dwell on the good times. Some of my greatest memories with Jimmy was riding around in my pickup and listening to Jimmy's Doors tape checking out the chicks. May God give you peace and comfort in this time of great sorrow.

I am so sorry for your loss! Jim was a great guy and his life was cut way too short! Your family is in my thoughts and prayers! Jim will never be forgotten!
Kelli, I am so sorry for you and your little "bubby"! I love you both and if you need anything, let me know. I am always here for you! I am so--so sorry that you are having to go through this! Keep your head high! God always has a plan and he will take care of you two. Stay strong for that little guy and know Jim is in a better place! I love you!
