Herbert Swanson

Herbert G. Swanson passed away December 21, 2006 at Mercy Hospital. He was born April 27, 1931 to Pearl and Charles Swanson in Worthington, MO
He was a loving husband for 52 years to his wife Isabelle. He was a cherished father and grandfather. Herb belonged to the Southgate Masonic Lodge and served with the USAF during the Korean War.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00am Saturday, December 23, 2006 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home with visitation Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00pm.
Herb is survived by his loving wife Isabelle, two daughters; Debra Dresback and her two children; Marinee and Ryan Dresback and Shauna (Rick) Ries and their two children, Amanda (Russ) Laffoon and Brett Ries and one great grandson Camren Laffoon. He also leaves two brothers; Lyle (Helen) Swanson and Charles (Wilma) Swanson ,one sister, Ilene Miller and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding him death were his parents, son Herbert Jr. and a granddaughter, April Lauren Ries.
