Service Details
Cecil L. Crawford, 88, passed away May 25, 2018, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. He was born July 15, 1929, in Norwood, Iowa to Garfield and Frankie Crawford.
Cecil was a tire manufacturer at Armstrong Tire for many years. He was a man of great faith who loved God and his family dearly.
Cecil is survived by his children, Mark Crawford, Tim Crawford, and Mary (Doug) Lutz; 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, 2 daughters, 4 brothers, and 1 sister.
Visitation will be held from 12-2 p.m. with services to follow at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2018, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines. Burial will take place at Norwood Cemetery following the service.

My dad (Claus Rohde) worked with Cecil at Armstrong Tire in the late 70s. He was a good friend to my dad. Sorry for your loss.

I will miss my Uncle Cecil. He always had a smile and the same baby blue eyes like my dad. I always enjoyed our visits; he was a good teaser also. Love to Mary, Mark, and Tim.
