On May 17, 2018 Nichole ‘Nicki' Emelo lost her 38 year battle with mental illness. She is survived by her loving mother: Brenda McFarland Emelo, her father: Randy Emelo, brother: Todd Emelo and doting grandfather: Everett McFarland. Nicki loved walking on beaches, bowling and helping others.
A graveside memorial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on May 25th at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery with a small family gathering to follow. In lieu of donations we request that you take a moment to express your appreciation to a loved one, buy a stranger their next cup of coffee, or take some friends bowling.

Nicki was a truly sweet spirit and I will always cherish the time in this world I spent with her. I know she had her battles with demons and I deeply regret that I couldnt do more to help her fight them. Brenda and Todd, my deepest condolences and you she are in my prayers.

Love you Nikki. I'm sorry I didn't catch you before you fell. I'm sorry for every tear you ever shed. I'm sorry for every scar you bore inside. My Father in heaven holds you now. He comforts and protects and heals you. I'm sorry I couldn't. I'm sorry that we lost you. Ill miss you and I will not forget you, until we meet again in heaven.

Brenda and Todd and Randy CW ... you have our deepest sympathy, I really didn't get to know Nicki but did enjoy seeing her a couple times. I have done the buying of coffee for other (strangers in line ) in Nicki's name and will continue doing that for a while. May she RIP now, sending Love, Aunt JacQue n Uncle Dale.
