Merri Jo Frost, 53, passed away Friday, July 4, 2008 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston.
Merri Jo was the daughter of Joe and Dolores Cunningham, and was born in Des Moines, Iowa on October 20, 1954.
Merri Jo was the owner of Frost Upholstery and Trim for over 20 years. She had a love for gardening and movies. She enjoyed camping and the outdoors and the love of many friends and family.
Merri Jo is survived by her loving husband, Jimmy; sons, Caleb (Jackie) and Jared Frost; granddaughter, Courtney Frost; sister, Cristy Cunningham; brothers, Jeffrey (Debra) Cunningham and David Cunningham; parents, Dolores and Joe Cunningham.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

I always enjoyed talking to Meeri Jo when she would come into our office. She was a very likeable person. We will miss her as you probably will also. Take care. My prayers are with you and your family.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Merri Jo several years ago. We were
in the business of upholstery together. We both had the opportunity to
teach our trade at DMACC. Merri Jo was always an "up" person and always
ready for a new day. She will be sorely missed as a friend and colleague.
My prayers are with her family.
