I have known Al since 1963. A bunch of us girls met him on the phone. Talked to him & his friends Dennis, Chuck, Randy & Don. We all met, then the fun began. Al was so much fun. We lost a few yr's out of touch. Then re-United when he came to my work, calling on freight business. It was me that he needed to talk to. Yes, we caught up again on all our family & friends. Then loss contact again. Then on the day Al had passed, out of the blue, I said to myself I wonder how Al is. I just had found out today that he had passed. So sad that I had missed his funeral. Just wanted to say you we're lucky to have a dad as him. He loved you kids & yes I had seen pictures of his wonderful family. Love to all of you,

AL will be missed greatly as a friend and expediter. I have worked with Al for over 30 years and I can't recall him ever in a bad mood. His uplifting look on life was always prevalent and his can-do attitude was great.

I have known and loved the entire Kataoka family since the 50's. Losing a member of that family is almost as hurtful as losing a member of my own family. God Bless and protect them all.
