Kathleen Elizabeth Anderson

Kathleen Elizabeth Anderson, 68, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 13, 2018, at her home in Des Moines.

Kathleen was born January 11, 1950 in Des Moines, Iowa to Robert and Mary (Neades) Roush. She married Gerald Anderson on July 14, 1967. Kathleen was a MLB fan, especially the Yankees. She loved country western music and enjoyed cooking and baking. Kathleen lived for her kids and her grandkids. She had a great sense of humor and no matter what the situation, she was always right.

She is survived by her children, Jerry (Karen) Anderson, Jesse (Terra) Anderson; grandchildren, Danny Anderson, Josh (Taylor) Anderson, Taylor (Zachary) Mitchell, Baylee (Levi) Anderson, Jordyn Anderson; great-grandchildren, Aidan, Tinsley, Michael; siblings, Judy, Marilyn, Debbie, Robert; and many friends and other extended family.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

There will be a graveside service at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Glendale Cemetery, 4909 University Avenue, Des Moines. A celebration of life will follow from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Grandview Park, 3230 Easton Boulevard, Des Moines in the enclosed shelter.
