Larry Stewart

Larry Randy Stewart, 61, passed away Friday, July 4, 2008 at the Kavanagh House on 56th Street. Funeral services will be held 11 am Monday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
Larry was born February 11, 1947 in Winfield, Kansas to Mable and Willie Stewart. He grew up in Ruth, Nevada and went to White Pine County Jr. High School in Ely, Nevada. Then he moved to Des Moines in 1963 and went to Des Moines Tech High School. He worked as truck driver for several trucking firms. Larry loved to spend time with his family. He enjoyed watching westerns and John Wayne and Chuck Norris were his favorite actors. Larry liked trucks and wrestling.
Larry is survived by his daughter, Brenda DeLawyer (Mike), his son, Brockton Stewart (Helen), his 3 grandchildren, his mother, Mable Stewart, His sister, Crickett Bozarth (Dennis), his brother, Robert Stewart (Carol)
He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Stewart and his son, Michael.
