I would like to express my deepest sympathy to family and friends. During these times it's hard to believe that we will be able to see our loved ones again but this hope is real, God assures in the bible that those in the memorial tombs will hear a voice and will come out of them. I invite you to read a scripture that helped me and I hope it can help you in these difficult times (John 5: 28,29)

I worked with Dave for several years at Eagle. He trained me as a burner cutter. Even with all his health issues he was one of the hardest working men I know. I can still hear his tarzan yell in my mind. He was one of the good one and will be missed by many. So sorry for your loss.

I am truly sorry for the Calvert family's loss. I worked with Dave at Des Moines Steel And then again at Eagle Iron, He was one of my closest friends at both Jobs and we became even closer friends after we retired. I will say he was definitely a prankster, and that was one reason we got along so well. That and his honesty.
I personally will miss him.
My condolences to all of his family
