We met Dixie and her family when we moved to EG in 1995. She was one of a kind and a friend forever. Such a woman of prayer and compassion, helping anyone with a need, any time of the day or night. Her giggle will remain with us forever! Prayers to the family, she was a precious soul. We can only strive to be the caring, praying, warrior that she was. terry lori aj and alex

May Dixie's beautiful life carry you through this period of grief and sadness. May the wonderful memories that you shared give you the peace and comfort that your heart needs. May the love of friends and family reassure you that you will never be alone in this journey. Im thinking of you in your time of sorrow and praying for you. Ray and I are deeply saddened by the loss of someone incredible, but we are still very blessed to have had the privilege of knowing her. She will forever be remembered and loved. Dixie will make those angel wings shine.

Dixie was an amazing woman who trusted God with every situation in her life, encouraged and prayed for others regularly, and had a contagious laugh and smile. We often joked that we wanted our mansions side by side in heaven - so we could enjoy our friendship with one another forever! Very special memories of her!

I remember Dixie with nothing but joy. She was a good person and a good friend. I remember especially when she was working at the funeral home, she made sure that I was never without a cup of water during the four hour visitation for my son. I could never have made it without her. I smile every time I think of her. I am sure she and God are smiling together now.

I will always remember Aunt Dixie's smile. No matter how bad things looked, she had the ability to chase the blues away. Dixie was always full of fun. There is a hole in my heart. Dixie always made you feel like you were the most important when you spoke to her. She loved us all. May God give you strength to heal from this loss, and carry on the faith. I love you, and miss you a lot.We are praying for God's comfort wiilgill your heart.

I would like to express my deepest sympathy to family and friends. In this moment the best friend we can all have is our Creator, Jehovah God. Pour out your heart to him in prayer because he cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7) He comforts us in ways we can't even imagine as the scripture here mentions (Philippians 4:6, 7). Please I invite you to read it. It has helped me and I hope it can help you as well.

Heaven definitely gained a beautiful, kind, bubbly lady. I was an EMT for a few years and had the pleasure of Dixie's company on a couple calls as well as in classes keeping our certications up to date. It was never a dull moment when she was present. She could turn a dull day into sunshine and laughter.
My deepest condolences to you all.
