Service Details
Patricia Ann Cluney, 78, died Monday, June 23, 2008. A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 26, 2008 at Berean Assembly of God with burial at the Altoona Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St.
Pat was born April 1, 1930 in Ames, Iowa. She loved to entertain, sew and cook. Pat also enjoyed genealogy.
Pat is survived by her husband, Gene; children, Patty (Steve) Thompson, Reverend James (Jean) Cluney, Michael (Kathy) Cluney, Janet “Lorri” Cluney and Nicole Perae; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family.

DEAR UNCLE GENE&FAMILY;
I WAS VERY SORRY TO HAVE HEARD OF "AUNTIE-PAT'S"PASSING.IF I COULD HAVE COME UP,I WOULD HAVE.I JUST CAN'T TAKE A TRIP LIKE THAT WITHOUT AT LEAST SPENDING THE NIGHT ANYMORE.I VERY MUCH LOVED AUNT PAT&WILL MISS OUR GOOD TIMES I HAD W/HER,WHILE STAYING THERE[UNCLE GENE].I WILL MISS HER&REMEMBER JUST OUR GOOD TIMES WE HAD.ALL OF YOU'ALL TAKE CARE OF EACH OTHER.

Dear Ones:
David and I were so sorry to hear of Pat's homecoming. Linda and Pat worked together in the office at Teen Challenge in Colfax. We have such fond memories of those days. David also worked at Teen Challenge.
