Frances Holmes

Frances Holmes, 83, died Monday, June 23, 2008 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital.
Frances was born was on April 16, 1925 in Dallas County to Younker and Anna Stehm.
Frances enjoyed traveling, collecting bears and going on family outings.
She is survived by daughter, Linda (Jim) Drescher; sons, Ronald (Shirley) Holmes and Donald (Lori) Holmes; 4 grandchildren: Paul Holmes, Holly Holmes, Amanda Briggs and Vincent Holmes and 4 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 26, 2008 at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Family will visit with friends from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26, 2008 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines.
Memorial contributions may be made to Berwick Congregational Church.
