Gladys VanVlair Peavey

Gladys Irene VanVlair Peavey, 96, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2008 at Scottish Rite Park. A private burial will take place at Highland Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A memorial service to honor Gladys will take place at a later date. Please contact Scottish Rite Park for further information.
Gladys was a former member of the Highland Park Presbyterian Church and also held memberships in the Reserve Officer’s Association and International Association of Round Dance Instructors. She was an Executive Secretary for the Polk County Association for Mental Health from 1958 to her retirement in 1973. Gladys is survived by her husband, E. Arthur Peavey, 4 nephews and 1 niece. Memorials in honor of Gladys can me made to the Highland Park Presbyterian Church.
