Thongkhan Lo

Thongkham Lo, 77, died Thursday, June 19, 2008 at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Visitations will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, June 20, 2008 thru Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway, West Des Moines, Iowa. The funeral service will be Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at 5:00 p.m., also at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, followed by a graveside service at Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines.
Thongkham was born May 1, 1931 in Laos. He spent most of his career in the military in Laos and then worked at Mercy Hospital for a year before retiring.
Thongkham is survived by his wife, Khambang; his children; Khamseum, Khamsing, Khamsouk, and Khamsaeng Lo; nine grandchildren; and two sisters, Dore and Ae Lo. He was preceded in death by his parents, La and Heuangpone Lo.
