Pamela Jean Ren, 69, passed away April 27, 2018, at Sunny View Care Center in Ankeny, Iowa. She was born January 28, 1949, to Melvin and Betty Heck.

Pamela worked at Rainbow Drycleaners for 15 years. She loved spending time with her family, spoiling her grandchildren, and the annual 4th of July cookout.

Pamela is survived by her siblings, Cindy Nisley and Larry Heck; children, Brenda Gott, Danny Manley, Troy Manley, Jason Edgington, Johnny Ren, Jimmy (Karen) Ren, and Jeremy Ren; 19 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, John Ren, Sr.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, May 7, 2018, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines with visitation one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow the service at 2:00 p.m. at Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter.
