I remember meeting Ronnie in junior high. We were in some plays together. However, my favorite memory of Ronnie was when we had this evil long term substitute, (Ms. Griffith? maybe? long red hair It was for Mrs. Bach's enriched math class- when she got her head caught in the sliding class doors) We as a class were determined to torment her... with timed book drops, coughs, you name it. Then she flipped out..."The next person who makes a sound...." The slow tap of a pencil, has never been so well timed...or as loud. His return appearances after being sent to the office were priceless.
He was rowdy but super smart. That's probably what I liked about him so much... the rowdy kid...that wasn't too 'bad' to be smart.
May our paths meet again... my book smart- street start friend.
