I just heard of Dick's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his entire family. It has been too many years since we saw each other and enjoyed family visits. I have many good memories of visits to our grandparents in Iowa and getting to stay with Roland, Dick and Doris at Aunt Naomi's and Uncle John's farm.

I am so sorry for your loss. My family lived next door to Dick's grandparents, Sam Powers in Ogden. Dick, brother Roland and mother, Naomi lived with the grandparents during WW II while Dick's dad served in the service. Lots of memories. After the dad, John returned home they farmed south of Boxholm. We visited them a few times and had lots of fun. Peace to all and God Bless.

My condolences to the family on the loss of your loved one. Losing someone you love is truly difficult and I know Dick will be missed. Please know our Heavenly Father holds out promises that can help us with our sorrow. One such promise is that death soon will be done away with forever (Revelation 21:4) and another promise is that "there is going to be a resurrection." (Acts 24:15) I pray these promises from God, who cannot lie, (Titus 1:2) bring you comfort.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I will not be able to make it to the visitation or the service. Didn't know him long but loved to work with him at Terrace Hills Golf Corse. He was a wonderful and great man. So sorry Peggy.
