Patricia Shepherd

Patricia Shepherd, 86, was born October 30, 1931, in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of Virgil and Mildred Daley. She passed away April 22, 2018, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines.

Patricia was a homemaker who devoted her time and talents to her family. She had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed boating, fishing, and camping. Patricia also enjoyed sneaking off to Prairie Meadows when she had free time. Above all else, she loved her family and taking care of her grandchildren.

Patricia is survived by her children, Steven (Bonnie), Bobby, and Curtis (Tammy); grandchildren, Casey, Cody, Colton, and Hunter; great-grandchildren, Robyn, Tiffani, Kaiden, Gabby, and Taya; as well as her sister, Mary Ann Clemons. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; daughter, Kimberly Shepherd; grandson, Robbie Shepherd; sister, Beulah Brown Waskow; and brother, Tom Daley.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, 2018, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. service time at the funeral home.
