Nicolle E. Stephenson

Nicolle E. Hughes Stephenson passed away April 22, 2018 after a long battle with breast cancer at Mercy Medical Center at the age of 37.

Nicolle was born November 30, 1980 in Des Moines. She graduated from Norwalk High School and received her Associates Degree from DMACC. Nicolle was an administrative assistant at Principal Financial Group. She enjoyed doing anything and everything with her two sons and being a dance mom.

Nicolle is survived by her loving husband, Jason; sons, Ahren and Arik; parents, Deeann and Ronald Richards; sister, Terese (John) Stephenson; step-brothers, Robert (Michelle) and Ken (Hazel) Richards; parents-in-law, Charlie and Ruth Stephenson; and a host of extended family and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Vincent Hughes.

The family will greet friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2018 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 28th at the funeral home.
