I was deeply saddened to hear of Earl's death. He has been a friend for over 20 years. I first met him at Legion meetings in Adel. He was a gifted person and most enjoyable with whom to visit. I have a written copy of a conversation I had with him in 2014 that I will bring to the cemetery. I was blessed to have him as a friend and our country was blessed to have had his service during WWII.
