Nola Fern DeReus, 75, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018. She was born May 2, 1942 in Missouri to William and Minnie (Glenn) McKean. She enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family.

Nola is survived by her husband Ned DeReus Sr., children, Jimmy McKean, Bobby (Janet) McKean, Renee (Jeff) Wright, Gary (Beth) McConnell, Tammy (Frankie) DeReus, Patty (Chris) Fees, Aggie (Mark) DeBoer, J.R. (Ann) DeReus, and Cathy (David) DeReus; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and adopted grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and brother, Glenn (Elsie) McKean;

She was preceded in death by many loved ones.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., Monday, April 16, 2018 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the family to assist with expenses.
