Margaret Ezzio

Margaret Ezzio, age 78, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, April 6, 2018.

Visitation will be held from 5-8pm, Tuesday, April 10 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Funeral service will begin at 11am, Wednesday, April 11, also at Hamilton’s, and will conclude with burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery.

Margaret was born May 26, 1939 in Des Moines, Iowa to Milford and Ethel Houge. She enjoyed 54 wonderful years with her husband Frank Ezzio. Margaret had a great work ethic and was a very giving person. She enjoyed puzzles, shopping, The “Wheel”, and was an avid baseball fan. She loved nature and gardening and was a fabulous cook and baker.

She is survived by her sons Frank (Tammy) Ezzio and Chris (Lori) Ezzio, five grandchildren Michelle Ezzio, David (Ashley) Ezzio, Madison (Travis) Williamson, Adam (Jarod) Ezzio and Aaron (Ashley) Ezzio, twelve great-grandchildren Michael Lopez, Elizabeth Owens, Kylee Ezzio, Taylor Ezzio, Abigail Ezzio, David Ezzio Jr., Christopher Ezzio, Joseph Williamson, Samuel Williamson, Lucille Williamson, Aubree Ezzio and Autumn Ezzio, two brothers, one sister and many other family and friends.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Frank, daughter Toni, parents Milford and Ethel, two sisters and five brothers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family for a future designation.
