Joseph Robert Miller, Jr., age 69, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018, at the V.A. Hospital in Des Moines.
Joseph was born June 17, 1948, in Creston, Iowa to Joseph Sr. and Margaret Miller. He was an Army veteran, stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War. He was employed at Wellman’s until his retirement.
He was married to Marti Miller for 39 years, until her death in 2007. He is survived by his daughters Colleen Miller and Donna Miller, sister Elizabeth (Frank) Kram, and nephews Scott Kram and Timothy (Christal) Kram.
Joseph was preceded in death by Marti, his parents, son Sean Miller and brother Steven Miller.
Visitation will be held from 4:30 – 6:30 PM Friday, April 13, 2018 at Pearson’s Funeral Home, 809 W. Montgomery Street in Creston.

My condolences go out to the family. In moments like these, we tend to rely on ourselves and we forget the power that prayer can have, it can give us the strength that we need and when we need it. This is a promise from God that we can find in his word the Bible. (Philippians 4: 6,7)
