To David's children and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I knew David for many years while serving in the Iowa Army National Guard. His wife, Julie, was my best friend. We had many laughs together and lots of fun times. David loved life and laughter.

A heart with the capacity to love is a heart with the capacity to break. A heart without the capacity to love is not a heart at all.
For my friend who has lost her brother I am so sorry, my heart breaks for you. Being a member of your family through friendship has meant the world to me. My thoughts and prayers are with you always.
